Excitement is brewing in the Bay Area as Stanford product Curtis Robinson is set to make his starting debut for the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night against the Carolina Panthers. The young linebacker has been called up to fill the void left by injured veteran Kwon Alexander and all eyes will be on him as he steps into a crucial role in the team’s defense.

Robinson’s journey to the NFL has been nothing short of impressive. A standout player at Stanford University, he was known for his athleticism, speed, and strong tackling abilities. Despite not being selected in the 2020 draft, Robinson’s determination and hard work paid off when he signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent.

Since then, he has been making a name for himself on the field, impressing coaches and teammates alike with his dedication and skill. His performance during training camp and preseason games caught the attention of the coaching staff, earning him a spot on the 53-man roster.

But it wasn’t until Alexander’s injury in week five that Robinson’s time to shine truly arrived. With the veteran linebacker out for the season, the 49ers were in need of a replacement and Robinson stepped up to the challenge. He has been working closely with the team’s defensive coordinator, Robert Saleh, to prepare for his starting debut on Monday night.

Robinson’s teammates have also shown their support and confidence in him. Linebacker Fred Warner, who has been a mentor to Robinson, praised his work ethic and called him a “great player.” Safety Jaquiski Tartt added, “We all have faith in him. He’s been grinding since day one and he’s going to go out there and make plays.”

Robinson’s first start will not be an easy one, as he faces the Panthers’ strong offense led by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. However, the young linebacker remains unfazed, staying focused and determined to do his best for the team.

In a recent interview, Robinson expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity. “Monday night is going to be a special moment for me and my family. I’m just grateful for the coaches and my teammates for believing in me and giving me this chance,” he said.

Robinson’s debut not only marks a milestone in his career, but it also highlights the 49ers’ ability to develop and nurture young talent. The team’s strong culture of hard work and determination has allowed players like Robinson to flourish and make an impact on the field.

As the 49ers prepare to face the Panthers, all eyes will be on Robinson as he takes the field as the next man up at middle linebacker. His teammates, coaches, and fans have full confidence in his abilities and are eager to see him in action.

Monday night’s game will not only be a test for Robinson, but it will also be a testament to his hard work and dedication. His journey from being an undrafted free agent to a starting linebacker in the NFL is a true inspiration for all young players dreaming of making it to the big leagues.

So, let’s all cheer on Curtis Robinson as he takes on this new challenge and helps lead the 49ers to victory. The future looks bright for this young linebacker and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us. Go Niners!
